JED ARMCHAIR BLUE
DESIGN ARMCHAIR IN SOLID OAK AND BLUE FABRIC
Habitat Greece offers you a reissue of its iconic armchair JED. Created by David Irwin, JED received the “Peter Walker Award” for Innovative Furniture Design in 2007.
This armchair with the removable cushion, its clean contours and minimalistic look, entered the Habitat catalog for the first time in the late 2000s. Irwin’s goal was to combine a strong design concept with fundamental usefulness.
Indeed, its design is environment-friendly, as it is produced using only natural processes and materials. JED armchair has a solid oak frame curved by steam bending. As for its finish, it is composed of natural products only, without perfume or dye. With its low and slightly inclined seat, this iconic model perfectly combines comfort and design.
Made in Italy, this armchair is back in a limited edition of 150 copies, with a new blue fabric covering, also of Italian quality.

Avoid placing this product in the immediate vicinity of a radiator or air conditioner. Heat and humidity can cause cracks or deformation.
Spilled liquids should be wiped up immediately with a cloth. Then wipe the surface carefully with a clean, dry cloth.
Use a natural oil to nourish the wooden parts and restore the original appearance at least once or twice a year.
Wipe off excess oil. This treatment has the effect of clogging the pores of the wood, which will then better resist variations in temperature and/or humidity.
Wash dirty wood with mild soapy water, rinse and allow it to dry before applying a coat of oil. Make sure that the surfaces are completely dry and that the oil penetrates deeply into the wood.
If the wood is stained, damaged on the surface, very dirty, burnt, scuffed or scratched, sand it with fine grain paper and then finish by applying a coat of oil.
Turn and pat the cushions regularly so that they don't wear out and get dirty.
For the maintenance of the covers, follow the instructions sewn inside.
Avoid direct and prolonged exposure of the product to solar radiation and sources of heat. The colors might fade.
