Description
The vases and candle holders of Tyloe collection bear witness to rare craftsmanship. These pieces are made of mouth-blown glass and alternate several colors of glass. Each piece of this range is made by hand, thus is truly unique.
The 37 cm high Tyloe vase is made of mouth-blown glass and has a square base. The transparent upper part contrasts with a celadon-green part of the lower part, enhanced with touches of gold. Celadon is a pale blue-green color (almost pastel, close to mint-green) named after a type of ceramic that originated in China. Celadon is both a color and a glaze, developed and refined during the 10th and 11th century.
Completely unusual, Tyloe adorns a shelf alone, or highlighting your most beautiful branches. It can also be used as a book-end.
